Come learn to sew, or advance your sewing skills in a friendly environment. Learn basic hand and machine stitches and then choose a project to complete which is tailored to your skill level. Sewing machines provided.

In this exciting summer camp, students will create and stage a short theatrical production. Under the guidance of the instructor, they will plan the story and write the script, and then move into staging, costuming, and more! The camp will close with a performance for family and friends on the final day.
Meet The Instructor
Steven is a devoted student of the arts. He has studied everything from the making of feature films, to ballroom dance, to Shakespearean acting.
As an actor, he has performed with some of the best community theatre groups in the Bay Area, including The King’s Academy, Lyric Theatre, and Hillbarn. Favorite roles include Mr. Wickham in “Pride Prejudice”(TKA), and Dr. Neville Craven in “The Secret Garden”(LAYT). He has directed musicals for HEART Academy and the Stanford Savoyards and he studied performing arts in college at De Anza and Foothill.

This week long camp is packed with classes and workshops geared toward students who love musical theatre! Classes include acting, musical theatre performance, choreography, creative writing, audition preparation, improvisation, jazz, monologue work, scene study, and more. A special emphasis will be placed on setting short and long-term goals.
Meet The Instructor
Lauren Meyer is a life-long musical theater performer raised in the wonderful Bay Area. She has a passion for encouraging theater artists and patrons. Lauren has worked as a freelance teacher and director/choreographer for many schools and organizations: Campbell Union School District, After School Life, Way to Go, Inc., Los Altos Christian School, Heritage Academy, and Stage Kids CA. She is also a private audition and performance coach. Lauren worked on the production of Unscreened 2013; an evening of four world-premiere plays in Hollywood. Lauren recently completed an internship with New York Theatre Workshop in Manhattan. She currently lives in LA and is completing her bachelor's degree in theater at Azusa Pacific University.
