What to Wear to Dance Rehearsal

- T-shirt (plain, no vivid designs)
- Jazz/Yoga pants or similar
- Jazz or Character Shoes (depending on the show/role)
What to Bring to Dance Rehearsal

- Water
- Simple Snack
- Script
- Pencil and Paper for Notes
- Optional: Electronic Device to Video-Record Choreography
What to Wear to Blocking Rehearsal or Run-Through

- Clothing Suitable for Your Character (it will affect your performance and the choreography; better to discover problems at the beginning than right before performances)
- Shoes Suitable for Your Character (you have to get used to them)
- No, we don't expect you to come to rehearsal dressed like this. :) This is merely an example of why it is so important to practice in clothing similar to what you will be performing in. It's not just about difficulty. What you wear can have a huge effect on the attitude, physical bearing, or even the vocal characteristics of your character.

- Recommended: Audio Recording Device (singing/music/lines),
Video Recording Device (choreography/posture/gestures/facial expressions/etc)
